Jurrjens to skip fall league

Jair Jurrjens was originally slated to pitch in the Arizona Fall League. His additional work with the Tigers in September means that he’s pitched plenty already this season so the Tigers will send Macay McBride instead.

JJ confirmed as Tuesday starter

It’s official now, Jair Jurrjens will start the second half of the Detroit Tigers doubleheader on Tuesday. This isn’t a return to the rotation, as Chad Durbin will remain in the slot that Jurrjens was occupying.
Jurrjens threw a bullpen session on Friday and had all his pitches available - pain free.
