Jair Jurrjens already has a decent shot at a spot in the Braves rotation. But yet another injury to Mike Hampton could help Jurrjens chances. Hampton hurt his hamstring while playing in the Mexican League.

A strained hamstring 4 months before the season begins should definitely heal, but it is another problem for the injury plagued starter. There is hope that Hampton can be the 4th starter. But if his woes continue there could be 2 spots open for some combination of Jurrjens, Jeff Bennett, Jo-Jo, Reyes, and Chuck James
