Jair could start on Tuesday

Jair Jurrjens, who was placed on the disabled list at the end of August when he left his start against the Yankees in the 2nd inning, is one of the candidates to start on Tuesday. The Tigers need an extra arm for the double header against the Texas Rangers. Reports are that Jurrjens neck/shoulder are feeling better and he could be in line to start one of the two games. He told the Free Press that he’s feeling no pain.
